Scope: This regulation establishes the requirements for CELLULOSIC FOOD CONTACT in BRAZIL. It includes terms and definitions, specifications, test methods and inspection rules of cellulosic materials, packaging and equipment whose surface is intended to come into contact with food. It also includes a POSITIVE LIST of components for cellulosic materials. This Resolution incorporates the GMC MERCOSUR Resolution GMEC/RES No 40/2015 into the national legal system.
